Big Night is the brainchild of Jim Pallotta, former Tudor Investment Corporation Principal and Chairman of Raptor Evolution Fund. Jim was inspired to help Big Brothers Big Sisters make critical strides towards ensuring the healthy development of children throughout Boston and Massachusetts Bay. His vision for creating this one-of-a-kind event has stood the test of time and varying economic climates, and is critical to the agency's ability to serve children.
Big Night is an annual event that has been consistently named the party of the year by The Boston Globe and The Boston Herald, but the real story is how support garnered through this event allows us to impact more children in need. Every year, the event features chart-topping entertainment and fine cuisine created by world-renowned chefs. Past entertainment has included an eclectic all-star mix, from funk and reggae to pop, rock and soul: B-52's, The Bangles, Blondie, Duran Duran, Earth Wind & Fire, Hall & Oates, Kool & the Gang, Ziggy Marley, the Steve Miller Band, J. Geils Band, the Neville Brothers, and Michael Franti and Spearhead.
